Established in 2003, the SIMA Awards gives SIMA members and surf specialty retailers the opportunity to recognize fellow surf industry companies for their outstanding contributions to the surf industry. The goal of the SIMA Awards is to identify the surf industry’s most influential companies and recognize them for their efforts to advance and grow the industry over the past year.

Men’s Marketing Campaign of the Year is awarded to the men’s apparel, footwear, wetsuit, hardgoods or accessory that produced the most creative marketing campaign in 2016. Consider men’s brands that displayed a creative, cohesive and consistent brand message in print, digital, social media and/or point-of-purchase materials.

“Hellbound In Clayoquot Sound” was first introduced to retailers during the January/February trade show and pre-booking season for fall 2016 immersing our retail partners in the experience and adventure Roark took to the Pacific Northwest. Traditional marketing kicked off the seasonal campaign with print ad’s in Surfer, Surfing, Monster Children, Whalebone, BL!SSS Magazine and various International publications as well.
